Join us for the Cello Festival of Southern Utah 2024 concerts! Audience can attend these three performances either in-person or remotely through YouTube Live. You can have access to the concert links through our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/cellofestival.s.utah The year of 2024 marks the 9th anniversary of our festival. This year’s featured clinicians and artists include Brandon Vamos (Pacifica Quartet), Kristen Yun (Purdue University), Dr. Phoenix Park-Kim & Rodney Farrar. Dr. Yun and Dr. Park-Kim (Duo Dolce) will give a cello recital on Sept 13 at 730pm. Lunchtime concert at 12pm in Sears Art Museum will feature Sarah Rommel from University of Washington on Sept 14. The Matinee Chamber Concert on Sept 14 at 2pm will showcase local and visiting artists as well as first-prize winners of the festival’s new event – Brimhall Cello Competition. Prof. Brandon Vamos will be the soloist in the Final Cello Ensemble Concert on Sept 14 at 730pm, performing a concerto arranged for solo cello and cello ensemble. All four performances are held in the Eccles Fine Arts Center, and are open and free to the public.
