Who Are We?
The Utah Tech University “Roar of the Red Rocks” Marching Band is made up of fun and dedicated musicians majoring in a variety of subjects across campus, including music. They are directed by Dr. Byron Ward, Director of Athletic Bands.
What Do We Do?
This performing ensemble is for musicians who have had previous experience playing an instrument in high school bands, or equivalent. No marching experience is required. The ensemble focuses on great sound, precision, school spirit, and fun music in a popular style. The band performs at all Football games, as well as tailgates, pep rallies, concerts, parades, and other Utah Tech and community events.
