“Opera Is Theater Too”
Description: Welcome to an evening of opera! What’s Opera?! Come along with us as we take you on a journey through some of the most stunning melodies ever written by composers hundreds of years ago. Yet, the stories they tell are still relatable and ever present in our lives today. Music by Bizet, Puccini, Viardot, Mozart, and more! Featuring the talents of Celeste Teal Dixon, Terri Metcalf-Peterson, Jacob Pohlsander, Connor Lee, and Grace Palfreyman. This concert is sponsored in part by DSU Music Department and UNLV Fine Arts Department. Come join the fun and you may discover the opera fan you never knew you were! Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at dsutix.com or at the door starting at 6:30 pm.
