The Utah Tech University Chamber Singers is an auditioned ensemble of 24-28 singers directed by Dr. Roger Hale. The group consists of undergraduates majoring in a variety of areas. The Chamber Singers focus on creating stunning performances of a wide variety of choral literature. As an outreach ensemble for the music department, the Chamber Singers recently toured Northern Utah presenting a number of successful performances to a variety of appreciative audiences. The Chamber Singers were invited to perform at the spring 2016 Utah Music Educators Association (UMEA) conference. Under Dr. Hale’s direction, the UT Chamber Singers are establishing a unique tradition of tonal beauty, blend and choral excellence in the region.
