Who are We?
The Utah Tech University Symphonic Band is comprised of musicians majoring in a variety of subjects across campus, including music. The group is led by Dr. Bryant Smith, Director of Bands.
What do we do?
In this ensemble, students prepare and perform outstanding traditional and contemporary wind literature and share this great music with audiences from across the region. In addition to regular semester concerts, the band also performs for the UT Commencement Ceremony, special guest artist performances, and in combined concerts with regional schools. Aside from increasing instrumental skills mastery in an ensemble setting, the goal of the band is to execute enjoyable, meaningful, and high-quality performances for students and audiences. For more information on joining this exciting ensemble, please contact Dr. Smith.
