Tiffany Barnes Watts holds a Master of Arts from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from Utah State University. With nearly 30 years of teaching experience, she maintains an independent piano studio in St. George, Utah, and recently served as President of the Southern Utah chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association. Her previous teaching experience includes serving on the faculty of the Utah State University Youth Conservatory and teaching college piano at Utah State University.
An active performer and educator, Tiffany is the keyboardist for the Red Rock Jazz Orchestra and assistant conductor for the Desert Strings Community Orchestra. She has presented professional workshops locally, at the Southern Utah Piano Pedagogy Conference, and at the Utah Music Teachers Association State Conference. During her high school and college years, she earned numerous Superior ratings in piano competitions and won both first- and second-place honors in the Utah Music Teachers Association Concerto Competitions. She is passionate about helping young musicians develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of music.
